1.Firstly, we shall take your (patient’s) particulars like the Name, Age, gender, occupation etc. This is because some Orthopaedic conditions are related to someone’s age, the nature of work one does, or by them being male or female etc. 

2.We shall then ask you how you are feeling and how the problem(s) started. This we call presenting complaint(s) and history of presenting complaint(s).

3. *We shall then Examine you;* 

a) General examination, where you measure your temperature, blood pressure, weight, height and others.

b) Local/systemic examination. Here we focus on where the problem is. For example; If the problem is with the joint, we check whether the joint is swollen or not, whether the joint can move freely or not and others.

4. *INVESTIGATIONS* 

These help to confirm to us the problem(s) you are having (Diagnosis). We achieve this by doing Laboratory tests and Imaging like scans, x-rays, CT scan etc depending on the condition you are having.

5. *TREATMENT/MANAGEMENT PLAN*
